Morbid Execution Interview

1. Can you give us an update on what is going on with the band these days?

"Vulgar Darkness" has been released just a while ago. Since a few years we had plans to do a full length and it seems it just happened. MorbidEx has always been kind of totally underground entity, so its a hidden beast which from time to time shows its claw.

2. How would you describe the musical sound of the new album and how it differs from previous recordings?

It is totally organic, pure sound of instruments. As always very raw and primitive. I don`t see any significant difference between old and new stuff. It`s still the same shit. We don`t havy any ambitions to create something innovative. You can like this crap or not. There is no other way.

3. What are some of the lyrical topics and subjects the band explores with the new release?

Of course its vulgar and primitive. It describes a bit a times and places of our origins. Tracks like "Wizards of Silesia" are kind of retrospective story about times that will unfortunately never come back. Basicly, how the cult was born. You know what, these lyrics are not something sophisticated, its just fucking primitive.

4. What is the meaning and inspiration behind the bands name?

I dont remember exactly what was the idea. We found that name while sitting on dirty construction site. Totally bored, and it was like lets found some completely primitive project. Perhaps, it took us 10 mins to find the name hehehe.

5. Has the band been able to play out live or is this a studio project?

We have never had plans of playing live. Its just 2 of us. This music has a special mood that doesn`t fit the stages these days. However, lets see what time brings.

6. On a worldwide level how has the feedback been to your music by fans of underground metal?

There are several bastards which appreciate this shit. This music is very special. So, we don`t have thousands of fans.

7. What is going on with the other musical projects these days?

Well, few months ago we have accomplished "Vulgar Darkness". Very soon we`ll start working on new Throneum stuff. Perhaps around September we will record a few new tracks. Next year will probably be a good time to start thinking about new Throneum album.

8. What direction do you see your music heading into on future releases?

To be honest, it will be exactly the same direction. We dont have any plans to surprise people with anything. As mentined above - you can like it or not. I guess the people who respect MorbidEx do not need fucking disappointment.

9. What are some bands or musical styles that have influenced your music and also what are you listening to nowadays?

There are so many of them, its hard to mention all. But right now, my car stereo is occupied with Venom "Cast in Stone" - this album is just great. Its the most underrated Venom album ever.

10. How would you describe your views on Satanism and Occultism?

My point of view on this perhaps is the best cause its mine. The opinions are so much diverse. I dont think it really matters what I think about Occultism. People should create their own point of seeing the world instead of following others opinions.

11. Outside of music what are some of your interests?

Nuclear weapons and Cold War history.

12. Any final words or thoughts before we wrap up this interview?

Yeah, listen to brand new MobidEx and cut yourself!!!
